Colliford Lake Tavern and holiday site campsite is the most iconic campsite in Bodmin moor. It is surrounded by mature pine trees and a wonderful view of the Bodmin Moor.
The Bodmin moor has been considered a natural outstanding beauty area and recognised as a dark sky park due to the least light pollution. Therefore the night sky life is the most significant aspect of the campsite.
Colliford Lake is just under 10 mins walk from the site where walking and fishing is the most popular activities tourist can do.
Walking on the moor has become one of the other activities tourists like while staying on the site.
Cycling on the camel ford trail is country recognised cycling route for the cyclist is very close to the site.
Access to the major A30 route is under a minute from the site; give a speedy connection across Cornwall. Therefore any part of Cornwall has never been so close.
The site has several hard standing, or grassed electric hook-up pitch can be haired for tent or touring caravans/motorhomes. But it is recommended to have an electric pitch with hardstanding facilities during the wet season for a tourer.
The site has a shared shower block with separate means and ladies facilities. There are accessible toilet facilities available on site too. The baby changing room, food preparation area, and laundry facilities are situated in the main shower block.
There are chemical toilet facilities just opposite the shower block. There is a water tap across the campsite to use at any time. Recycling and waste bins are also clearly marked for the guest to use during their stay.
Due to the least light pollution area, the campsite usually has less light during the night. Therefore carrying a torch is recommended for a better experience.
The site has a bar, restaurant that all guests can access during the stay. An indoor games room, an outdoor beer garden with Lakeview and an outdoor play area gives the guest a unique experience with family and children. 
Colliford Lake is under 10 minutes walk from the site gives a fishing and walking experience to the guest.
